Two themes, or conversation topics, really jumped out this week as we continued our conversation with Winter. These aren't the kind of things that usually bring joy in discussing, but they are a crucial part of "the normal life" for far too many of our friends, neighbors, and yet-to-be-met friends. This episode takes a more overt Religious/Spirituality approach as we talk about... 1. Experiencing racism in “the church” and around “church people” 2. The pressure for black Christians to forgive racism/racist actions and not protest or “play the race card”
