Episode 191: Part 2 of From My Planner to Your Ears
from The Best Podcast · host Matt Best
Today’s episode of my series “From My Planner to Your Ears” covers 2 important quotes which I frequently refer to. The first is a quote from Goethe, the famous German author, which is “Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough. We must do.” This quote is very important to me because of the great value which I need to place on getting down to business and applying what I know. It’s so fun to learn new things, to ponder, and to think through scenarios. However, I need to realize that experience is the greatest teacher, and that if I “do” more, then I will learn more and grow more. The second quote is “He who holds his breath the longest, wins.” This quote from Gary Vaynerchuk seamlessly complements the previous quote from Goethe. If I am to really focus on doing and putting in the work, then it cannot be temporary. It must be pushed on for a long period of time in order to get everything that I want out of it. I appreciate you listening to these reflections and I look forward to recording more of them. Thanks for tuning in. Much love ❤️
