The new PDL season gets underway this weekend. To celebrate, we're bringing you an hour long PDL special. We kick things off with a chat with the man running the league right now, PDL director Todd Eason (03:46 mark). We talk to Todd about the season ahead, the challenges facing the league from the likes of the NPSL and USL Third Division, where the PDL fits into the North American soccer landscape, the importance of bringing stability to the league, the part Canadian clubs play in the league's success, and a lot more. Vancouver's newest PDL team kicks off their inaugural season on Friday. TSS FC Rovers may have a tough debut season ahead of them, but they've been doing everything right off the pitch to begin with.
