Episode 193: So Creepy It's Carpenter IX | HALLOWEEN KILLS

from Blood and Black Rum Podcast - A Cult Film / Horror Podcast · host Ryne Barber

Our final episode for 2021's Halloween season is a cheat with the John Carpenter thing; he didn't direct Halloween Kills, but he did contribute the characters and film score. But of course we had to cover this sequel to the 2018's requel, and we take a lot of time to channel our frustrations at this follow-up. We enjoyed 2018's Halloween quite a bit, and while we did have fun with Halloween Kills, we spend most of this episode discussing the many areas it goes wrong - and then try to cover a few places we really liked. Hope you enjoyed our series, check back with us in a couple of weeks for some holiday podcasting! Oh yeah, we're drinking Guinness' Nitro Cold Brew Coffee beer. Approximate timeline 0:00-7:00 Intro 7:00-17:00 Beer talk 17:00-end Halloween Kills
