Episode 194 - Jailan Williams

This week we’re joined by artist, producer, instrumentalist and fellow podcaster Jailan Williams from the great state of South Carolina! We got in touch with Jailan through his show the JusMusic Podcast which he co-hosts with his friend Marco and which serves as an awesome platform for local and worldwide talent to tell their stories. Jailan gave more insight on how the podcast and brand has helped him and Marco both expand their horizons and connect with more individuals who they might not have met otherwise and the possibilities it has opened up for creating new ideas. He also discussed his own musical journey and how he leaned into his own artistry more in his college years after not being too keen on it in his early life. Since then he’s self released his own tracks and projects including his 2023 tape “The Resume” which gives listeners a sample of his wide musical appreciation for different styles and palettes.
