Episode 194: Souls Extolled (Psychedelic Rock) [Austin, TX] {SXSW series}

Episode 194 is final episode from our mini-SXSW series, featuring our buds Souls Extolled of Austin, TX. They are a psychedelic rock trio who describe their sound as “Ozzy having a love child with Rancid on acid.” Singer/songwriter Zach Black was kind enough to let us stay at his place while we were in town. This is technically Souls Extolled third time on the show but it was our first time doing in an interview in person. We sat down at the bar after their set at Hole In The Wall ATX and talked about everything the band has been up to since we last met in NYC. Since their national tour in 2022, the guys have focused on writing and recording another record as well as playing shows around Texas.
