According to Michael Benson’s Twitter / X, Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach have agreed to fight on December 14th for Tank Davis WBA Lightweight Title. Rumors speculated about Tank fighting Jose Valenzuela but those later got debunked leading to Roach 25-1-1, who’s also the WBA Featherweight Champion. Tank 30-0 (28 KOs) is coming off of a knockout win against Frank Martin. With Tank fans claiming that he had no good options to choose from and others saying that Roach is another lower class fighter for Tank to beat, we dive in and discuss the fight announcement along with potential other options within the 135-140 pound division.
