Episode 196 - Awks Cord

This week we welcomed in the multi talented Awks Cord who is an artist, producer and DJ from the west coast. She joined us to touch on where her love for the craft began! With a background in band early on she took up for instrumentation which led her to the world of creating through music production. She discussed how this has helped her within the curation process as a DJ but also as a solo artist herself. Most recently she released her latest effort “Wanna Smoke” as her first full offering of 2024 as she continues to craft more new music behind the scenes. If anything is present throughout this episode it’s her love and enthusiasm for music and specifically for the grind and payoff that comes from being an independent artist as someone who’s been at it for some years now.
