Episode 196: DJ Green - McCall-Donnelly High School

Despite falling short in the State Championship game this season, DJ Green was rewarded with the 3A State Tournament MVP Award as he absolutely dominated throughout the tourney. This was a season of ups and downs for the McCall-Donnelly basketball program, but Green led them to the State Tournament where they had a massive showout. Doing play-by-play broadcasting for the 3A Tournament on behalf of the NFHS Network this year, I caught the semi-final matchups and was able to call DJ's game. I was blown away at the athleticism and overall ability to play at such a high level! Then I watched him in the State Championship as they fell just short of the title!  DJ will be chatting with us today about his upbringing, what it was like playing ball this year with all the restrictions due to the pandemic and we'll hear about his work ethic and how he made the best of the situation.  So many golden nuggets are in this episode so don't miss it!  This show is brought to you by 208 Printing.
