Episode 196 – Lovesick

Back from an extended break (and a trip to Japan) with a shorter-than-usual show for the Thanksgiving week distractions we all could use more often than not, be it from family or football or parade waiting or anything else, and we've got a fine "distraction show" for you all here - some talk about the Chainsaw Man movie and the first Virgin Punk episode, Kodansha establishing a live-action production arm, The Apothecary Diaries coming back next year with a new season and a new movie, and remembering the man responsible for Toei's rebound, along with the usual bits you've all come to expect from this dog-and-pony show. Have a happy Thanksgiving and we'll see you back in December for... let's call it "at least" one more show before the year is over. intro - yet another intro 6:11 - Andrew’s Japan trip (and future nuptials) 22:04 - Chainsaw Man movie and Virgin Punk thoughts 39:00 - a small bit of news stuff (Kodansha Studios, Apothecary Diaries S3 and movie, RIP Tatsuya Nagamine) 1:08:22 - home video releases (Sentai, Crunchyroll, Discotek) Apple Podcasts – https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/podcastona/id1348141210?mt=2 Spotify – https://open.spotify.com/show/2JZLO3LfoeHepomejTw4TP iHeartRadio – https://www.iheart.com/podcast/256-podcastona-43099114/ TuneIn – https://tunein.com/podcasts/Podcasts/PodcastONA-p1249922/ As always, check out surrealresolution.com for more content, updates on the show, our continued news posts, reviews, and our fellow podcasts.
