Episode 196: WCW Thunder 10-04-2000
from What Happened When Hosted by Podcast Heat | Cumulus Podcast Network
If you like great wrestling action with great storylines...then you have come to the wrong place. A show that was long on skits and interviews and short on action, the event was from Long Beach, California and is best known for the standoff between Jeff Jarrett and Beetlejuice of Howard Stern fame. That was in the very first segment and it went downhill from there. The crew was ready to embark on a trip to Australia and this was the last stop on what was a lousy tour out west before the long trek to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. This was WCW approximately five months before the end and there was no doubt the promotion was in trouble.
