Episode 2.0 Endurance Horse Podcast

Hello & welcome to Endurance Horse Podcast! I’m so glad you could join us.  How was your holiday weekend?  Ours was pretty laid  back, though I have to say, for some reason my husband, Jim, really spoiled me starting on Thursday.  He showed up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers,  made sure I had time to ride  that night and then on Friday morning he cooked me breakfast & sent me off with one of my favorite horses & a good friend for a nice, long, trail ride.   And to top it off by the time I got back from my ride there was a homemade pot of artichoke soup simmering on the stove.     In case you are wondering, I had a great trail ride with my little sorrel mare, Grace.  Grace had not been on the trails in sometime, though she was amazing and happy to be out there.  Grace is happy to leave the other horses and find her own journey, even if it was just going off to search for Tara’s lost glove, which, by the way,  I don’t think has been found yet.     There are several man made obstacles on one of the loops we ride on and Grace rushed over to each obstacle as if to prove she truly should be the horse that I take out on EVERY ride.  She was eager to please and is such a snuggle horse, and I love her so much!  I would love to hear about how your extended weekend was, did you find time for horses,  kick back and relax or did you travel?     In Episode 2 we are going to hear from some new riders, get some updates, ride reports, a humorous Tevis memory from our Canadian friend.
