Thank you and welcome everyone to our our 2nd LIVESHOW of Inspire Change with Gunter. This is our 25th episode of Season 2 of our global podcast which means its also our all around 45th show in the series. Today we have a another very special guest joining us today to discuss solutions to the current state of affairs from the pandemic to racial issues to feminism. Our guest is a multi awardwinning filmmaker which includes 7 Emmys. She is a singer songwriter, author & producer. Patricia Gras, began her diverse career in Spain after graduating from Thunderbird and ESADE’s dual Master program in 1985 as the first and youngest female product manager with Gallina Blanca Purina. In 1988, Patricia shifted gears and returned to the US to become a pioneer in Spanish television in Houston by finding the first Telemundo newscast as a reporter, producer and host. For the next 22 years, as a reporter, producer and TV host, she won 170+ broadcasting awards, more than any other producer in Houston PBS’ history. Her local, national and international awards included 7 television Emmys, 17 national Tellys and several international film festival awards. She has been inducted to the Who’s Who in America, in the Media and International Biography.  Patricia speaks 5 languages and has travelled to 54 countries. She has also lived in 8 different cities around the world.  Her award-winning international documentaries include Living Smart with Patricia Gras, which has aired on over 200 PBS channels for 7 seasons. Career highlights have included interviews with Presidents such as Jimmy Carter and George Bush senior and hosting of the first national PBS show on Nelson Mandela.  In 2014, she wrote The Yin and Yang of a Small Fish in a Big Murky Pond to share her lifetime experiences in the media and music and began a podcast in Spanish with two other bilingual journalists (www.programafactorm.com) about current women’s issues. Additionally, Patricia is also a professional singer/musician.
