Episode 2 - A More Sure Word

When Christ rose from the dead, Thomas, one of Christs disciples,was not present. Although his friends had personally seen Jesus, and testified of Christ’s appearance, Thomas doubted their word. He asserted that He wouldn’t believe until he touched Christ’s risen body. Perhaps he was really from Missouri!Years later, God would inspire Peter to write, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy…”. Although the gospel accounts are eye witness accounts of Christ’s life and resurrection, a more sure word is the Word of God. Because “holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” In other words, We can always trust God’s Word over the word of man.
