What this episode covers
Episode 2 starts our story. Right before the Labor Day Holiday a Wallingford Station Manager started calling in City Letter Carriers without Union Representation and informing them they were Deems Desirable for the entire week-end. It didn't matter that they had a 3-day week-end. It didn't matter if they had FLMA they had to work! Why did they have to work? They had to work because Wallingford Station management and the Seattle Postal District was completely incapable of doing their job. They have been incapable of fulling staffing stations and so that means City Letter Carriers have relinquished their rights to use the Sick Leave they have earned. That is what I call in this DART Podcast BS (BAD SUPERVISION). You'll get the tools and documents to fight this particular form of USPS management BS.
