In the first interview episode of Rendered, Emily sits down with her dear friend of fifteen years, Cindy Hudson — a thirty-year Mary Kay director and recent widow with a gift for leaving everyone she meets feeling more full of life. Together they walk through the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 17 — the brook Cherith, the ravens, and the widow of Zarephath with her last handful of flour — and explore what Cindy calls "Elijah'n it": staying obedient in a season of drought.
