Welcome to the WeCan Talk - Young Farmers Wellness Podcast. Created by Project lead of the Young Farmers 5 year project, Tash from iCan Wellbeing Group CIO, based in Carlisle, Cumbria. iCan is a health, wellbeing and social support charity (CIO). At iCan we aim to support people living in Cumbria to break down their fitness and wellbeing barriers from I can’t to iCan. We do this through a dedicated focus on prevention before recovery in our centre fitness and wellness centre in Carlisle and through our range of outreach activities across Cumbria. We try to empower people to live healthier, happier lifestyles through our range of accessible and affordable ( often free) services which are led by our lived experience team members, volunteers and mentors. Our services are open to all ages, genders, backgrounds and beliefs. Our community mean everything to us and we couldn’t do what we do without listening to, learning from and loving our members. We are working in collaboration with Young Farmers Clubs and the Farming Network to support Young Farmers across Carlisle & Cumbria with their mental health and wellbeing. Keep an eye out for us at the H&H Auction in Carlisle where we have a stand once a month offering support. Make sure to follow us on Spotify so that you get notified of a new episode.
