Hi everybody and welcome back to the Just Two Ladies podcast. Ladies are here for you. We're back. I say I'm back for a minute because I'm logic.

I was going for a minute but I'm back now. Oh my god. We're back. And here's one of your ladies.

Her name is Cordon. I screwed that up. Thank you. This is the other ladies.

This is Caroline. And here we are. Just two ladies. Just two ladies.

Just two episodes of this podcast. Just so far. So we got an email from Connor Mulvaney all the way from Switzerland. Oh my gosh.

We have an international audience. That's so sweet. Hey, thanks Connor. You and your Swiss Alteers.

I don't know. That's really nice. Thank you for sending us an email. Yeah.

So the subject is microwaves and stuff. Connor's here to relieve your fears. Oh gosh. Remember back to episode one listeners where we discussed.

He's a huge giant. A big nerve nerve about microwaves. A big nerve nerve about microwaves. Yeah.

So he wrote us this wonderful long email that just made us smile a lot. But in it he said, I would like to talk about Courtney's irrational fear of turn tableless microwaves and perhaps recommend some solutions. First, a little silent. Silence?

Silence? Silence? All right. Hey guys, first, a moment of silence for microwaves.

Thank you. Connor. Yes. Microwaves use radiation to heat the molecules, namely water and the food.

The viewing window microwaves will have a sheet with a lot of little holes in it allowing you to see the food. This is what protects you from the radiation. The microwaves are too large to fit between those holes and therefore do not escape and harm your old brain noodle, which is adorable. So cute.

Your old brain noodle. Thank you. My brain noodle is protected. Thank you.

The turn table in the microwave is used just to rotate the food. In theory, it will heat all food equally. I have thought of some solutions to your problem and that's just the kindest thing in the galaxy. Yeah.

One, learn more about microwaves. Oh, call me out. Perhaps understanding the science will alleviate your fears. Two, trick yourself.

Take a video of a turn table microwave heating some food and whenever you need to heat food in a turn tableless microwave, simply watch that video while the food is heating. I like the thought there. Really? Yes.

Put a record player on top of your microwave. The turning motion of the record will hopefully provide some relief if the microwave is turn tableless. Added bonus, you can listen to some groovy tunes while your hot pockets are cooking. Parenthetically, might as suggest you spin me right round parenthetically like a record baby by dead or alive.

And then he went on to tell us about his own beef with microwaves, which is the popcorn setting. I get it. Yeah. That makes sense.

Yeah. And I think he was talking about like that sometimes they weigh the pot, like some microwaves weigh the popcorn and then put in time to like, you know, match the weight of the bag of popcorn, whereas other times they require you to enter the weight yourself. But not all popcorn bags tell you. And so like, here's the thing guys.

I know it's hard, but with popcorn, you just got to listen. You just got to listen to your popcorn. And once there's a little gap between the pops, it's like two or three seconds, right? Yeah, like once you like, you know, like two seconds between pops, there might be some on pop kernels, but you just got to live with that because you don't want to listen.

You don't want to. Pop. No, burn. Pop for me.

No, thank you. Yeah. And so I know it's rough. Those settings, you know, I know they're supposed to make life easier, but they don't.

They just don't. So man, Connor, thank you. I get your beef with microwaves. I'm not understanding mine.

I really like the second idea about taking a video of a microwave with a turntable and then just watching it whenever I'm making food. So that's super cute and like, no, I might do that because I think it's really nice. It's a really nice way to just put yourself at ease. Yeah.

Yeah. Thanks so much for writing us, Connor. We love you. Yeah, I love you.

I hope that your studies are going well. I swear to you. And feel free to write us an email again. Anytime.

Anybody. Give us a thought. We love it. The title of this episode is called Icebreakers.

Because it's back to school kids. We just had our first week back in college. We got a Montana State University if you care. Go Bobcats.

Go Bobcats. Go cats. Go cats go. We probably have the least school spirit of anybody I know.

Have you ever been to football? I never. Not once. I went to two.

What? I went to two of them. You have like, that's like my amount of school spirit squared. But at zero times anything was still zero.

You're right. You're right. Good job. Call me out on my math skills.

Yeah, I had to recall that a little bit, but yeah. Croud. Thank you. So yeah, we went back to school.

And the first week always, always holds lots of exciting stories and syllabuses. And syllabuses. And as per the title of this episode, icebreakers. And so I thought to start off this week, we'd do a couple of fun icebreakers for you guys.

I just got to say real quick, I'm a firm proponent of the icebreaker. I think it's the cutest time of the year. Really? Yeah, I think it's really sweet.

Okay, so like, okay, I get that. I guess like it is sweet, but it's so grueling to have to go through it over and over and over and over. I don't know. And some people take it seriously and some people don't.

Like there's varying degrees of the icebreaker. Right. Yeah, I don't know. I still just smile to myself.

I'm like, oh, we're all kids here. That's true. It's so true. It's like middle school on.

It's all the same kind of stuff. Yeah. So I've pulled up here. I'm on funny icebreakerquestions.com and I click on there's team building and there's team building two.

We're on team building one. And these are funny icebreaker questions for the office meetings and seminars. No, they didn't use an Oxford comma in between meetings and seminars. Excuse me.

All right, Caroline, I've got an icebreaker question for you. I'm actually changing it a bit. There's a question here that I like when I'm going to change it so it's more fun. If you were a bumper sticker, what would your bumper sticker say?

Oh, that's a really good icebreaker. Yeah. I would either say, I'm just trying my best, keep five feet away from me. Or I would say, mine would be the coexist font, except it would be my name.

That's my bumper sticker. So you are my bumper stickers. I love that. I love that.

Well, I have the pinned tweet on the top of my Twitter right now is just softer voices 2k 17. The best thing about my favorite. Yeah. And I really like that because I do try to live by that and I'll have a story about that a little bit later.

But I love when people are loud all the time and especially when they're not being loud at me. I would love if we could all just have softer voices in this year of our Lord 2017. So I think that would be my bumper sticker. I would say a year.

Okay, 2k 16 was Kylie Jenner's year of realizing. So 2k 17 is the year of softer voices of our Lord. Yeah, the year of our Lord. All right, I've got another icebreaker question here.

Where did it go? Oh, I'm so sorry. That's okay. Oh, Caroline, I thought this was so funny.

What is your favorite office machine? Okay, I can't wait. My favorite office machine. I gotta say, are we all paper cutters?

They make a satisfying sound. It's like, it's so perfect. Yeah. I'm really satisfying.

I like doing it slow ever since I was like 10 and that was the first time that my mom let me use the paper cutter. In the morning star, teacher lounge, she told me to take a stack paper back and I did it really slowly and I watched all of the paper split and I was like, is there a job where this could be my only job? It's cutting paper with paper cutter. But I was like, laminators, I think laminators are fun too.

I don't think I've ever used a laminator. Okay, you guys heard it here first. Next episode, we're going to Kinkos. Just two ladies at Kinkos.

Laminating stuff with a laminating machine. No, laminating leads. Oh my God, yes, me and with you. What's your favorite office machine?

I think my favorite office machine would be like a scanner printer combo, like the big ones that have lots of like slots and buttons and like stuff. And mostly I really just like it when they like spit out paper and it's like really warm and you like pick up a stack of papers and you're like, oh, these are so warm and they have like a certain smell to them and I just really appreciate like, it's just so methodical and so nice. They'll come out uniformly. As long as it's a rhythm to you?

Yes, exactly. I'm like, oh, I'm like, oh, I'm like, oh, I'm like watching like the, when the scanner's moving like the beam of light that's like, and it like doesn't stop. You mean the ultra light beam? The ultra light beam by Kanye West?

Printers are a God. I mean, scanner, copy or combos. Yes. All right, God dream.

One time I stared into that beam when I was like six and I was looking at it, I thought it looked beautiful. I came right front and I'm like, oh God, that's like looking into the eclipse. You're gonna go blind. You gotta go over classes if you make your copies.

Yeah, you better wear those eclipse classes if you're making copies or scanning a document. I would hope so. Oh my gosh, something like that. I do have to say just like along the same lines of that icebreaker question, this one time, okay, like four years ago, three years ago, confused Caroline was talking to a guy and he was trying to compliment me and I was feeling kind of weird about it.

I was nervous. I might do him after we were quarantined. Okay, sure. He said, gosh Caroline, if you wear a piece of furniture or a household item, you would be a dryer because you're so comforting and warm.

And I think that's simultaneously one of the best compliments I've ever received and also kind of a little backhanded. Yeah. But also I like that. I was like, oh, I'm a dryer.

Yeah, it's weird. That's a really weird thing to say. And I'm in my head, I'm trying to think about who this is. I'm wondering if I have the right person.

Well, I was 17. It was September of meeting 17 and confused. I think I know who it is actually. I think you got it.

Yeah. Yeah. It probably will be sad, but it's not something that person would say. Confused me was like, oh, thank you.

You would be, I forgot what I told him you would be. Yeah. Like, look how could I be some furniture or household? Would you be?

Would I be? Yeah. Yeah. I'm like, well, maybe both.

Like, because I'm always really warm and I don't like it. I sweat a lot, which is like too much information about me, but I do because it's always, I'm always warm. Well, we have a podcast title on that that will get you. Yeah.

That's right. We sure do. And yeah, so like it would be nice if I was like a refrigerator and I'd be like super cool all the time. But I would love to be something like, I don't know, I'd love to be like a, you're almost comfortable couch because I like, I want people to be comfortable and feel happy and comfy.

But most of the time I feel like I'm like a welcome mat because people just walk a little bit. I love the time. Like whatever. It's cool.

Too real. But like, yeah, man, if you weren't a dryer, what would you be? Yeah, identity crisis for the dryer over here. Well, first of all, can I just say like if you would be a refrigerator or something, my favorite resource of all time was ice box.

That's the best thing. Yeah, I like ice box. We got to the Kentucky Derby. I think I was 14.

We're just go ice box. I'm going to be so strict. I love ice box. So you guys, cause I love you both.

But I think I would probably be, well, first of all, I think the days are hilarious, but I would not be a potato. Yeah. But I think the days are like, I don't know, important. Sure.

Yeah. But I think I'm actually finding a dryer. Okay. I think I'm a pretty good.

I love, I like how close feel coming out of the dryer. So like if the dryer is in your life and then you're done with it and you take your shit out your things and you hold it and you feel better about it. Like I hope I could be a dryer. Yeah.

So like maybe this guy was right. I don't know. Right. Yeah.

You make everything nice and soft and warm. Trying to. So car you're gonna go. I know.

Remember when my boyfriend didn't know that Kentucky Derby was a horse race? That was. Yeah. She's pointing to him.

I think like some game like that and he thought that Kentucky Derby was like, I think like a driving car driving like NASCAR. Like the Indy 500? Yeah. Okay.

That was funny. Yeah. Maybe laugh. But like I don't know.

I guess I just thought that was like a carbon knowledge thing. I like that. He's now flipping me off from over on the couch. So my last episode where I just held up three.

Yes. Yeah. Yeah. That was good.

So nice silent commentary from Josh on the couch. He's a good kid. I'm rounding out. Well that was nice.

I'm glad we did some nice ice breakers. Hopefully now you audience know more about these two ladies. Yeah. And people at home, we want to know more about you and our ice breakers.

We're going to use a hashtag JTL ice breakers and answer the questions that we asked which were if you're a bumper sticker, what would you be? Yeah. What would your bumper sticker be? And your favorite office machine.

And you know as an asterisk if you were a home appliance or furniture piece. What would you be? Yeah. Tweet out.

We'd love to hear from you. Hashtag JTL ice breakers will be looking at them. You know going back to school and stuff, the ice breakers, Courtney and I take them very seriously and we try to be unique. Right.

Yeah. You want to have fun. But I tell you what, going to school in Baltimore, Montana, with a bunch of kids that just follow every fashion trend to a tee, you get a lot of I love skiing. It's like dude.

Yeah. What else though? Yeah. Tell us a fun fact about you.

We like skis. Come on. Anybody that like skiing. No.

Not in this town. Not in this veil of Montana. Yeah. In our class I thought the ice breakers was kind of cute.

It's what? Yeah. What's one thing you want the class to know about you? And then the other question was one thing you don't want the class to know about you but they'll find out anyway.

And I think the R&D's are pretty good. Right. They're pretty fun. Yeah.

And everybody's like for the one where it's like what don't you want them to know about you? Everybody's like there's nothing or I don't want you to know anything about me. I don't want you to know about me. I like to sing.

I don't know. I was a little disappointed. Yeah. There were definitely these 20 answers and I get like I don't know these aren't people that you're going to be spending the rest of your career with.

There's not really much reason to get to know each other that well. It's fun. It's nice when you can make it enjoyable. Everybody hates like it's a very dreary thing to have to go through the ice breakers over and over like we're saying before.

And so you might as well make people laugh or you know like you haven't done something that they haven't heard a million times. Yeah. Just to make people's day better. I love to hike and my dog's name is Bridger.

Wow. I think I'm at 17 of you. Yeah. Exactly.

Same cookie cutter answers all the time. So Courtney and Pointer class for her. What do you want the class to know about you? She just diverted it away from herself and said limbo is the most aesthetically pleasing video game of all time.

How? That's true. That's just a service to the people. I don't know.

Yeah. That's like your tree style speech and you gave it to them. You gave it to them. You gave the people what they want.

I just want everyone to play that game. That's all. I don't know. It gives me joy in my heart to know more people know about that video game.

Limbo. Check it out. Please play it. Tell me what you think.

And Caroline talked about Selena on. Oh. And so MLA formatting. And like we had fun.

We had fun with it and like had cute little answers and neither of us ski I guess. So we have to come with something exciting. But skiing is too much for me to handle. Like I just don't want to.

This one time I was skiing it was right after I got like this reset of massage. Like I felt like a new girl and I went on to the ski hill with her friends from Washington and I went on to go skiing with them. And I'm going down this gulley or gulch. I don't know the words on my two slabs of wood or whatever they are.

And I fell obviously and messed up my entire back. And so like all this rejuvenation just went down the mountain with me. But separately. Right.

Yeah. And the way it was lost. I don't know. Sure.

Yeah. So we had to come up with some more exciting stuff in skiing. But yeah, I don't know. It's just fun sometimes to have, you gotta mix it up.

You gotta mix it up. And we tried. We tried our hardest. I think I did.

Yeah. We'll get back to the first week of school stuff in a little bit. But before that we're going to continue our little segment from last time where we talked about some alternate titles that we had for this podcast. For the year and a half of planning that we had.

Exactly. There's a lot. We've got a couple here. Caroline, would you like to offer up a podcast title?

Yeah. So the first title that we're going to be talking about today is called But Maybe Sunday. Which if I think about it too much I might cry. But it's like a really sweet thing.

So okay. It starts out years ago with little Carol in the backseat of my grandma's car that we called this by car because it was cool. It was a really cool car. It's by car.

It's by car. It's by kids. And that's why. Because it was like it was like it was great.

Fun fact. I slammed my thumb in the door of a spy car and I had to like it was really bad. Anyway. That was the last day I said upgrade.

But we were listening to Creep by Radiohead because when I was a kid I wanted really bad to not be a normal kid and like pop music. And so I would talk about how much I hated Justin Bieber but I love Stevie Rake Vaughn and Radiohead. And it was probably annoying as hell. But we're listening to Creep by Radiohead which, in fact, I don't like if you remember last episode.

I was going to say I think this might happen. We've now talked about Creep by Radiohead or two back to back episodes. Like this might have to be a theme of our podcast. Creep by Radiohead.

Like it just comes back. You never know when. It always does. It does.

I hear it everywhere. I'm like, God. At least put on like weird fishes or pasty. That's a good one.

And we're listening to Creep because this was back when I didn't actually like Radiohead. I just wanted to be different. And the song ends and Tom York is just so sad because of course he is. And it ends and he's like, I don't belong here.

And I'm with my grandma and my mom and my little brother Cole. And my grandma just very quietly from the front seat goes, but maybe someday. That's so nice. Why'd you say that?

She's like, because it's not happy. So we were going to call this podcast but maybe someday. And all of our anecdotes would just go back to like, well this is a thing now. But maybe someday.

It will blink. Maybe someday people will make more fun than icebreakers. But maybe someday people will realize that Creep is the most sub-par song by Radiohead. But maybe someday people will understand that skiing doesn't make you an interesting person.

But maybe someday, fidget spinners will be a thing of the past. God I hope. I'm really hoping. God I wish that was me.

I wish that was you. I think it's a past. I was just memeing. But no, I wish that I was a fidget spinner and someone would just forget about me.

No, please no. Listeners, please never forget about Courtney Jane-Yovitch. Okay. Oh wait, I'm glad to say this one.

Do you want my social security number too? That's fine. It's all good. Okay.

That's perfect. Yeah. So that may be someday. That was a nice one.

Okay, I'm really excited with this next one. I'm going to talk about this with you. We wanted to name our podcast Stop Jumping on Jack. Stop jumping on Jack.

And for those of you who don't know, Jack is the giant bird that Travis Scott has been touring with with, with Kendrick Lamar. You're by himself. Right. Also by himself he's bringing Jack around the country and possibly around the world.

I think Canada too. But I'm not sure about it. Yeah. I think that's why we went to see Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar perform.

And she got to see Jack in person. Jack in animatronic prison. Oh my gosh. I didn't even know how they bring him up.

But I was going to see Travis Scott on his normal tour where Jack is stationed on the stage. So Courtney, I love you Bozeman. And there is the Museum of the Rockies. I'm sure you've heard of it.

And there's tons of animatronic dinosaurs that just stay on there. And I wish you could see me right now viewers. But they'll open their mouth and be like, nah. And then five seconds later they'll shut it and their head will turn and they'll put their alarms up.

So it's something like that on stage with Travis Scott. And Travis is just a jumping machine. He's a little jumping bean and he throws his head around. And so on the kind of a Markedor, Jack was actually like hoisted up in the air and Travis Scott had a harness on.

And he still jumped on him. But Jack was skinny on the store. I wasn't worried about it. You're skinny or he lost weight.

Yeah, he did. Is he okay? I don't know. Is Jack okay?

I bet. I bet it's a little when you're being jumped on all the time by Travis Scott. It's like show the video of Travis Scott jumping on Jack. Yeah.

And so then I said, no stop jumping on Jack. And we thought that'd be a great podcast. I don't know. We love Jack.

Stop jumping on Jack, Travis. I love you. Take care of your boy. Yeah.

Take care of your boy, Jack. And sometimes it's really funny. While he was with Kendrick Lamar, he had to bring the bird out from the right side of the stage. And it took maybe a minute for Travis Scott to get harnessed up.

They were playing the beginning of Butterfly Effect for a minute. And they keep playing out just like a bird sound and it would open its mouth or Jack it opened his mouth. He's like, Whoo! And Travis Scott would try to get us all amped up as his safety precautions were happening.

Cute. Jack just cares. I don't know. Yeah.

Jack is a true icon. I would say. We can go to One Jack Arabic. Respect icon.

True. Our next podcast title is I think this might be one of my favorites. Oh my god. Menopause as hell.

We as young 20-something like to make the joke that we like to talk like we're moms going through menopause. Oh yes. Oh no. Menopause as hell.

And we even have mom names. Yeah. Yeah. Courtney is Cheryl.

I thought I was Cindy. Oh, you're Cindy. I think I changed my name from Cheryl to Cindy. Cindy is funnier.

Yeah. I like Cindy. And Carolyn is Helen. Yes.

Because menopause as hell and for those of you who don't know Caroline is actually like when she talks about our city especially She talks about it like she's a person in her like late fifties with her whole life You were like I remember when you could see all the way across this it was just a field Yeah, oh my god, I'm back goes through the field. You're right. Yeah. Yeah, you're hella good for sure Helen's kids are at soccer practice.

Don't at her. No at me. My kids are at soccer practice I gotta go get them later in my Toyota Tacoma. Oh my god.

It's a coma. It's a coma. It's a coma. Is it a coya?

It's a coya and then Tacoma's another Tacoma. Oh my god. It's a car. It's a car.

A cored? No long day for Ellen. You've had a pause as hell. Ellen doesn't know anything about cars.

No. No. I just know what I know about real housewives. Mm-hmm.

And the property brothers Wait, okay. I just had a realization. Okay. So you've got me.

Yeah myself, Carol. And then you have Helen and if you know anything about me You know that I am not pleased with the property brothers. Yeah, I don't really have a reason I don't need one. I'm through with the property brothers, but I think Helen likes the property brothers.

Oh my god It's like your alter ego like it's like dr. Jekyll and mr. Hott. It is.

Oh my gosh. There's a war inside of you about the property brothers But I got a war in my mind. Remember's Lana. All right Helen does Helen remembers Lana.

All right, but Caroline's done with Lana. Oh my gosh. This is amazing I can't wait to explore more Helen. Oh, they'll contrast.

Yep, Cindy too. Yeah Cindy as well. Tell us about Cindy Courtney. Um, well Cindy just recently went through divorce and so When she changed her last name This is a real thing when she changed her last name You have to like you know there's there's a whole process that you go through so it's really easy when you're changing your last name It's also really easy to change your first name at the same time and Cindy used to be Cheryl and she wanted to just like burn all of her past life and so she has her first name when she changed her last name to so now she's Cindy Cindy's more liberated Yeah, Cindy liberated for her past life the shackles of Cheryl.

Yeah, and gosh She has her children on weekends and and it's great. She's living her life. What's like? Okay, well, I really like this comedian Eliza Schlesinger and she has this joke about women and when they try to reinvent themselves They take a close.

I'm taking a class. I mean I send you for the first time. Yeah, that's your class My class would be um, I think my class would be restorative yoga Yeah, yeah, cuz a lot of people don't know this but Cindy has back problems. Okay.

Yeah, so she's doing restorative yoga and she's never felt better Cindy you're my hero But it's funny because we talk about like we came up with these names because they were our wine moms Yes, but I don't I think wines gross and so I was like well Cindy is she shows up to the wine parties But she has a flask ooh like in her heart of heart Cindy is just an alcoholic lady Her heart of heart and flask of flask is her flask of flasks is so so she's doing restorative yoga, but she's also destroying her liver Cindy yeah, so she's not the hero you think she is Not like other girls. She's three-dimensional, so oh my god. I love Cindy. Yeah, that's it.

Oh, no Yeah, so menopause as hell menopause is hell with Cindy and Helen maybe that'll be like certain weeks we can do Yeah episodes as oh, we'll check in with Cindy and Helen. Yeah down the road. You gotta get to know us first though Right Court in Caroline. Just you ladies email us is JTL podcast at gmail.com cute Tell us about your alter ego wine mom my alter away mom Helen she well apparently she like scaffolding as an educational does Concept is what was I was informed of this last weekend.

Um, I was talking about it a lot Yeah, Helen was yeah Helen was talking about scap direct quote from Helen was scaffold your way to a better day I Have not written down. I can't believe that yep Helen said that Scappling is just a concept in education that if a kid doesn't get anything or like doesn't get a concept that you're talking about You work with them on a goal that can reach to get to the bigger concept. I think that's great So Helen Helen has two kids and it's hard to say who's raising who? Oh, I'm raising my kids But I think they're raising me too and they're helping me scaffold my way go better day And so when my kids are at school, I like to go downtown I like to go to John Bozens Bistro because we all do oh wait, but I was gonna say I want to point out that it's closed now I broke Helen's heart just no jump over to be sure it's great.

Um, and Helen just loves Momosas Yeah loves Momosas and she is working her way through big little wires for the third time now loves big little Wives you can talk to me about whatever you want anytime I don't care if I'm not being hung up on it if you go hey Reese with his big little wise I'll be like what and I'll run over to where you stand. We'll talk about it That's so good. Oh my god. I love big little wise as much as any fifth year woman does right.

Let's see what else about Helen There's lots about Helen that she needs to figure out about herself Helen is meeting Helen for the first time really You know just like Cindy yeah menopause as hell it is and sometimes you go through a little crisis and you have to Rediscover who you are Helen. That's okay. Thank you Cindy. I really appreciate your friendship through these trying times come over.

I'm gonna drink Awesome, what's your favorite like what's what's your music? Oh? Like Cheryl Crow. Oh my god.

That's so funny. Yeah, four year old me. Yeah like Cheryl cool good. So good side.

Yeah We listen to Steve McQueen so much in my household McQueen yeah, and like oh what's her name? Oh? Not to be able to remember who it is my mom loves her so much. Amy something Amy Grant Amy Grant Oh, no way.

Yeah, Amy Grant and like Tricia your wood. Did I like a shearin? I don't know. I don't think my 50 something mom does But I'm sure my good mom does not like a shearin.

She thinks he's an algorithm. I schooled her on it. Yeah. Yeah I don't think anybody likes it June.

That's not true. Why is he making all his money? Good question. He's a camera for all of us Do that was disgusting.

Yeah, I can't believe it. We'll hate on it. She earned another day. Oh, yeah That's a topic all its own.

Yeah, the last time we're gonna discuss that we almost seen this podcast was this is a quote from Josh Yeah, just call it gal kato. Yeah, and so we were having this conversation about the pranik I can't believe that just happened. Connect pronunciation the correct pronunciation. I'm awful I hate myself.

Mademoiselle. Mademoiselle is hell you can't remember any words. Um correct pronunciation of Wonder Woman's name Um is it gal the dot or is it gal the dough and I think personally I think we all agree that gal the dough is a much more like elegant and eloquent both both both but it's a much more fitting Pronunciation, I think for she's so graceful. She has kind eyes and I think it sounds better to call her gal Good dough even though I've been told that the correct pronunciation is gal the dot.

Yeah I started getting interviewed and what's whoever was interviewing her was like we're here with gal Good dot and I was like excuse me. No, thanks. It's like give and Jeff. It is the same thing.

Yeah So what is we're talking about this and Josh just ended up misplacing the tea because you know gal good dot. Yeah, he just called he started calling her gal Um, which I like a lot. It's funny but like I The image of a toe doesn't fit in our gal our gal who she's so beautiful. She's nothing like a toe Not like chanting tatum who's a real time.

Oh, it's a thumb. It's a thumb and it's like it looks like a big toe like from spy kids Let's bring back spy kids. Please. He looks like the thumb people from spy kids.

Those are scary. They were scary. They were weird red jumpsuits. Yeah, like they look like pajamas Yeah, yeah, I wonder if they were like a silly pajamas, but anyways, so gal get oh just call it gal kato And we were I think we're walking back from music on me or something and uh like talking about the podcast Like that was the night that we came up with a ton of different definitely names and uh Josh was like just call it gal kato.

Who were like what if we just called it just call it gal kato? Exactly like in quotes. Yeah a direct quote. Definitely Yeah, I guess gotta tell you Courtney that one of my favorite Memories of just us as friends is when you and lee and I went and saw Wonder Woman But I think that was some of our best banter ever.

It's true ever and like she would lean over I think it was right after like gal kato or me Wonder Woman. She turns around to chris pine And Like just smiles at him and she's like shaking her face hands after she saves the village And she's smiling and correct. She just needs everything and kind of this little tongue goes Cal kato. Oh, no gal kato has kind eyes.

Yeah, and I think I should have seen you so that thank you It was the nicest little thing. She does she's so Like she's the perfect person to play Wonder Woman because she just makes you feel so safe Yeah, and like I just like I don't want to go on a rant about how much I love that movie It's great though. Yeah, we totally could talk about it all day But you know just like watching her thighs jiggle when she she's doing her like power moves. I'm like god.

I wish that was she's a real lady Because you see those movies and all these people are too firm for their own good. Yeah, exactly Gal Gadot is perfect. She is perfect because she's a person Yeah, but she plays a god or something. Yeah, like and uh god.

I just I love it. Yeah, it was great And there's a great night. I think I got the best compliment of my entire life that night better than the drier compliment Yeah, when Courtney goes, I just love that when we go see movies you never even consider asking should we see the 3d or the 2d version? Yes, you just assume 2d every time.

Thank you so much for telling me. You're welcome I started liking myself that night after I was told That's so nice. Yeah, it's great. It's great.

I really appreciate like we go the three of us go see movies a lot Me and Carolyn and my roommate Lee, um, and we it's great because like we just have a good time We go to the 2d versions of every film we make fun of all the previews and it's so fun. And that's another thing I appreciate It's never like I would love to go see that movie It's just laughing at every dumb thing that Holly was doing right now every single one and I have such a blast with that I really do I love you. I love you. I love you And that's just ladies.

That's what this podcast is really about. It's about love and it's about making you you listener better Absolutely. Yeah, yeah There's the titles. All right, so I would like to get back I've been taking notes all week because it's in the first week of school and I am inevitably riled up about a lot of stuff because people suck And like not to be a downer, you know, but like first week of school You're backed you're surrounded by a lot of strangers a lot of people in different scenarios and settings and people really like you see People's true colors.

I think during the first week of school like you really get an idea of what you're in for Yeah, you get an idea of um Just how hard people want to try or how much they care like and how that dwindles a little bit as a semester goes on And you know, like it's not up being down or it's like it's about making you as listeners better and better It's better. So we talk about these things. We can avoid them in our lives. Yeah, absolutely Absolutely.

Um, and so I thought we would maybe share some stories from our first week of class Um, court and I have two classes together. We do and the funny thing is we did not plan it that way And we didn't even know about it until the first day of school like we were having dinner one night over the summer Court is like, I'm so worried for my art class. I was like, I'm taking an art class, but it's pretty non-majors And she said there's one for non-majors. I was like, yeah, which section are you in and we're talking and we're in the same section the same class We we had a big embrace about it.

She came up off my feet. I was like, wow, that's fun It was cute. And then uh, so we were walking to our art class on the first day of school and she was like, oh, we have going on after this class I was like, oh, I got like a two-hour break. She's like, so why?

I was like, yeah, I've got this like curriculum design class She's like, oh, I've got one similar to that. It's called curriculum assessment design. Yeah, I was like, wait, hold on a minute Hold up. We got together.

Yeah, and we had the same class together. So every Monday, Wednesday, Friday We have our first two classes and it's nice to start our day that way. Take out them. Just two ladies go into class They do that they do that and then they like to tell stories about it on their podcast And hold them back from each other until this time.

I'm just waiting. I'm just waiting to tell you my stories. Yes. Otherwise.

Yeah, so I don't know Do you have one you want to start? Um, yeah, I think my stories. Yeah, they can start so both my stories come from the same class I'm taking a class where we um are trained to mentor students and so we meet once a week And it's just basically a this wonderful amazing professor teaching us how to teach kids and help them stuff. I'm really excited and there's this kid sitting next to me and you know, like it's first day school.

We're all kind of nervous and oh god, that's like that one dollar time First day kind of nervous. I just want my first day. We'll talk about one dollar tempo another time. Um, he's a great artist.

You 12 I really want to have him on our podcast. So one dollar tempo if you're listening, we'd love to have you as a guest Please google him. Look him up on Spotify one dollar Timbo and listen to his famous song fidget spinner and also first day Princees kind of nervous Um, yeah, I could tell that this girl in my class was kind of nervous on my first day Um, and uh, she was talking about church camp and stuff like that and I was doodling in my drawing book for drawing Um, and she she goes oh gosh darn it Oh Ever I hear gosh darn it I shrivel up a little bit inside because I get nervous for that person's heart, especially when it's like a genuine gosh darn it Like darn it. That's really like what they're feeling and that's how they chose to express it Because you know if I hear a kid say gosh darn it, I'm like, okay, angel But this uh college lady and I think about going forward in college and all of the terrible sides of humanity you see in college You see some of the best sides of it.

It's true. It's actually true. I don't doubt it No, and I really love college. That's why I feel that's right.

Um, but you see some really awful things and there are people being stupid and there are people Not caring about anybody and then you have people experiencing this that's like gosh darn it I'm like, oh what if you're in a situation where people are being stupid like are you okay kidding my mentor in class? Oh, and I kept thinking about it saying gosh darn it the rest of the week and I cried a little bit about it And maybe I'll be a friend and we'll we'll just scaffold our way through school. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, you gotta build upon those experiences Yeah, uh, that's so sweet.
