In the second episode of Influence Series, Professor P goes over the book "Why Good Things Happen to Good People" by Dr.Post and Jill Neimark and have Ryan Dusick as as well as two of his students, Machion Garisson and Ani Kamajian, as his special guests. "I was being of service and that offered me self-confidence, knowing I had something to offer". Ryan Dusick Ryan Dusick is a musician best known as the original drummer for the American pop rock band Maroon 5. He was a founding member of the band along with Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and James Valentine. Dusick played drums for Maroon 5 from its formation in 1994 (originally known as Kara's Flowers) until 2006. During his time with the band, Maroon 5 gained widespread popularity with hits like "This Love," "She Will Be Loved," and "Harder to Breathe." Dusick left the band in 2006 due to serious wrist and shoulder injuries, and he was replaced by Matt Flynn. Since leaving Maroon 5, Dusick has pursued other ventures outside of the music industry of being a psychotherapist and writing his latest book,Harder to Breathe: A Memoir of Making Maroon 5, Losing It All, and Finding Recovery Through engaging anecdotes and personal insights, Ryan offers listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the music industry and the transformative power of artistic expression.
