Jim coached Lawrence Johnson and Tim Mack as students at the University of Tennessee, the latter of which he coached to a Gold Medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Jim also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in sports law and sports governance at the University of Tennessee.
