Episode 2 — March 22, 1888: The First Apparition

It was a Thursday, the day before Palm Sunday. Two peasant women — Fabiana Cecchino and Serafina Valentino — climbed a mountain in Molise to work the land, with a few sheep at their side. One sheep wandered off. Fabiana went to find it. And what she saw at Cesa tra Santi would change Castelpetroso forever. In this episode, Danny Cicchino recounts the first apparition of Our Lady of Sorrows: half-kneeling on the rock, arms open, the dead Christ at her feet, covered in wounds — the crown of thorns and the nails laid aside.
