Episode 2: Rest, recovery, & the “Do Less” mindset

In this episode, Alyssa reflects on the importance of rest and recovery for our overall well being, state of mind, and ability to achieve our goals.   She talks to a couple of moments in her life where she appreciated companies that created space for this (Google’s rest weeks in the summer), and when others shared the importance of rest (a loved one on Maui leaving a Time magazine on her coffee table open to an article about doing less).   Summer time is a time of rest, and a perfect time to talk about the benefits of and ways to think about rest and recovery.    Alyssa also talks about the “Do less” mindset - in which you prioritize you and your rest time, and therefore take on less. You don’t always need to be busy.
