A project born from Sam's desire to help change the stigma around mental health after overcoming his own mental health issues and working as a nurse. Taking a proactive approach, tackling the problem from the root cause rather than the effect. At the age of just 27 years old, he's already worked with industry professionals and schools to develop and deliver safe open experiences to empower more than 35,000 young people nationwide! Currently working with Lancashire and South Cumbria Trust in suicide prevention, co-hosting the 'Mental Health Family Hour', a free resource to help families through lockdown with all aspects of their mental health and honing his skills as an endurance athlete about to take on the biggest physical challenge of his life to date. One of the most driven men I know with a vest for life and passion for educating young people to change the landscape of mental health as we know it.
