With a recent vacancy at the local children's entertainment establishment, Freddy Fazbear Pizza, they're in desperate need of someone to cover security during graveyard hours. A man who gives his name as Mike Schmidt takes up the badge in the company's time of need, but as he soon learns from his guide on the company phone, the animatronic entertainers get a bit quirky at night. Once the lights go out, the vengeful spirits of the victims of a murder spree most cruel rise again, inhabiting the form of the cartoon mascot robots they love.
