Episode 2. Understanding Grief in Motherhood

from Grief in Motherhood Podcast · host Kaitlin Parsons

Hey mama. It’s me, Kaitlin. I know it has been a while, but I am honored to be back hosting Grief in Motherhood. Grief is a unique journey and every road is different. Whatever path you are on, I want to offer you a few words of encouragement. It is ok to grieve and to grieve as deeply as you need. And, even in that place of processing and pain, there is still hope. Joy can and will come again. Grief and Joy aren’t mutually exclusive. Today, I am updating you on my personal journey and what holding grief and joy looks like for me. Every day, I hold them together, with my boys here on earth and my sweet daughters who have gone before me: Esme, Adelaide and Lanie. I know each story has its own outcome and we can hold those all with hope for the future. Join me as we remember our babies, share our stories and our resources, and hold space for each other as we walk this road together. Sending you all light and love.
