Episode 20: A Tough Tussle

Happy Veterans day! We wanted to start by saying thank you to all veterans and their families, who sacrifice so much to keep our country safe and strong. Today we are covering a short story from the 1880s about a soldier fighting his own personal demons while in the midst of the Civil War. This story is also written by a veteran named Ambrose Bierce. Since Ambrose has an interesting life story as well, we decided to share with our listeners a little bit more about his life as a fighter and his mysterious disappearance at the end of this episode.
