Episode 20 - Ace in the Hole (w/Lisa Tozzi)

It’s fake news from the ’50s in Billy Wilder’s Ace in the Hole. Kirk Douglas stars as a disgraced reporter who exploits small-town tragedy for fame and profit in this overlooked film noir classic. Former Buzzfeed News and New York Times editor Lisa Tozzi joins us all the way from the Big Apple to talk journalism ethics, media circuses, and rattlesnake festivals.
