Episode 20: Endometriosis

from #WorkInProgress

Endometriosis: A disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus onto the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or the intestines. In short--it's painful and we don't want those problems! As women, there are areas anatomically that we suffer in silence or invisibly. Whether it's pregnancy, periods, or conditions- you can't truly understand what we go through just by looking at us. In this episode, we brought in two ladies (Tamien Elder and Amanda Moody ) who speak to their personal experiences on what it's like living with endometriosis. While it's a common condition, it wasn't a topic we grew up hearing about so we decided-- to talk about it.
