Episode 20: Jason Henderson Talks Positive Politics

Politics and politicians are something that doesn’t scream Silver Lining Life Podcast BUT it does when it is a storyteller that talks about things like changing your job to be closer to your family, running positive campaigns and sharing specific goals and the way to implement the goal so your community will still benefit from them even if you aren’t elected. Jason Henderson is our storyteller this week and he shares his career path from surveyor to elected official to now running for Mayor of his small town. In terms of politicians he doesn’t at all seem like one and in fact, his wife doesn’t even like when he refers to himself that way. I think you will agree that he doesn’t quite fit the old school idea of a politician. He wraps up the episode talking about how we can all get involved in our communities to make huge changes right where we live.
