John Burgum joined the South Wales Evening Post in 1968, becoming chief football correspondent six years later.During the next 25 years of writing about Swansea City he saw it all - and brought that news to us. Swans fans would rely on John to tell them the fixtures, the inside stories, the sackings, the signings and the exclusives!His role saw him work with great names in the club's history... Harry Griffiths, Alan Curtis, Wyndham Evans, Robbie James, Frank Burrows and Jan Molby to name a few.But it was with manager John Toshack at the helm that things got interesting with a rise through the leagues and the occasional clash over JB's coverage!With his book - "When The Swans Had Everyone Smiling" out now, John sat down with Jack and Ant to share some of his tales.
