When my 7 year old daughter saw a nun for the first time she exclaimed, "Mum, is that one of those ladies from the Sound of Music?" It was then when I realised that religious people, especially sisters where not something that you see a lot of these days. Nuns, were something you probably only saw in movies and if you and even then you would not be wrong in assuming that they probably don't even exist anymore, and IF they did, they would be old and cranky or walked around singing with a guitar! Sr Mary Julien will show you that they do in fact exist and not only that, but they are a necessary and needed part of our community.
