Episode 20 – The Wise Man’s Fear Chapters 70-77

What this episode covers

In this episode Kvothe and Denna almost kiss.  I mean like really close.  Like, right there.  But, alas it was not meant to be.  Then they fight.  Hurtful words were said, and they each storm off.  Then Kvothe gets sent off on a fool’s errand by Maer Alveron, and before Kvothe’s buzz wears off he finds himself in the woods with a DnD party. This section was a bit strange as these things go. Normally our section breaks have some sort of arc to them.  Not this time.  This is very much a transitional section.  Not the best.  But, still some interesting stuff happens.  Oh yeah, and we read some Limericks. Next time we will cover chapters 78-86. Predictions Kvothe is not going to kill those bandits. Lady Lackless is Kvothe’s Aunt. Kvothe is going to need rubbing wax at some point…perhaps to make a mommet?
