Episode 20 with Marina Blackford

from Taking Charge of My Cancer · host Derly Munoz

Marina Blackford is a mom, dental hygienist and two time breast cancer survivor. She received the news that she had Stage II breast cancer one week after qualifying for the Boston Marathon. She would have 16 chemotherapy infusions and double mastectomy surgery and still run the Boston marathon as a cancer survivor that next year. Five years later, she would start her YouTube channel to pay forward tips to other cancer fighters. During that time she would be diagnosed with breast cancer again. What could have been the worst time of her life was turned around with her will to fight and live well each time. She documented her journey and tips for other cancer fighters and survivors including a viral “What I Wish I Knew Before Starting Chemo” YouTube video. You can find her traveling with her family, being active, and live streaming with her YouTube community.  Connect with Derly https://cancermindandbodyrehab.comhttps://Cancerrehabsolutions.com Social : Instagram.com/cancermindandbodyrehab/ Facebook.com/cancermindandbodyrehab/ Facebook.com/Cancerrehabsolutions/ https://www.youtube.com/@cancerrehabsolutions https://twitter.com/@Derlycanc72466 Marina Blackford Gilbert, Arizona Future “Beyond Cancer Coach”, life coach certification in progress [email protected] https://youtube.com/@MarinaBlackford Instagram: @MarinaBlackford @beyondcancercoach
