Episode 201: "Look At The Model, Not The Company"

After yesterday's episode with Brent Gove are started thinking about his comment about looking at the "model" instead of the "company". There is no doubt that the company I work for  gets it's fair share of negativity, ant some of it is warranted. The real challenge is that the people who could have benefited most from it, might be "passing" on the opportunity because of the way they were originally approached. This, in my opinion is is the biggest downside. For those that are worried about building a business that includes generating income from other agents production, I ask you this... Would you turn down a referral fee to another agent because you simply provided them a lead? They will be doing all of the work, but will likely have no problem paying you 25% of their commission. My prediction, is that you'd have no problem doing that. Probably because it is the norm. So why is it such a concern to refer a company, and be compensated with a referral fee? In this episode, I share 3 stories of how the model I looked at, and joined, has put me in position to create an additional revenue stream.
