Those are the words from Bobbi Gephart, who confronted her abuser in front of his congregation after he gave a "confession" of an "affair" some 20 years ago. John Lowe II lied on stage, telling his church that he had an "affair," leaving out an important detail--it was no affair at all. Instead, he raped a 16 year old girl and abused her for years. This is a case-in-point that survivors of abuse have more power than their abusers give them credit for.
