It co stars Jada Pinkett Smith as Annie, Mark Ruffalo as Detective Fanning and Javier Bardem as Felix, the drug lord orchestrating the hits. Collateral is both a dialled down and dialled up Cruise all in one. Managing to play the silent and deadly hitman, existing in the shadows of the underworld while demonstrating such expert shooting skills that his tactical draw is used by experts in handgun training. Foxx, who also prepared for the role by driving a taxi, holds his own against arguably the biggest movie star in the world.
