Episode 207 - Reesie Woods Pt. 2

Returning this week from his initial appearance on episode 108 is R&B artist Reesie Woods! In 2022 Reesie had discussed with us about moving from his hometown of Gary, Indiana to Atlanta and on this episode he explained why he’s now deciding to move back to the Chicagoland area. He described his time in Atlanta as a learning experience but one he feels he can take away a lot of positive things from moving forward. On the music side he talked about being able to retain his independence even after a label meeting in the city that was a first of its kind experience for him. While doing this he released not only his album “Ego Off. Soul On.” but also his latest single “Blackberry” in which he accompanied with a chopped and screwed version earlier this year. While he’s currently crafting his next release he’s in no rush as he continues to stay true to himself and his voice each and every day of his journey which we admire a lot.
