Episode 209: Zombie Repellent (2024)

Gets a staggering 5/5 but we know that Amazon scoring is a shit show.This one would have been better as a drama than a comedy, as none of the actors really have the comedy chops. However, it was watcheable. A big twist, which again, would have been better if this was a drama than a comedy.The story? I kinda hate to say I liked it. It wasn't a 5/5, it was a 5/10 but that is alright, right? A couple, Chad and Liz are eloping to Vegas to get married when their car breaks down in bumblefuck nowhere. As their car gets repaired they but a difficult Rosie the Riveter style mechanic and the sheriff has taken their stuff they are sent to a local boarding house where things go wrong. The town has zombies. And the locals are trying to keep it quiet, whilst using zombie repellent on them.5/10... I would think it would work better as a drama, but it was entertaining enough to be watching in 3 sittings.
