What is real, what went wrong, and how do we fix it? In this Episode I continue trying to make sense of how John and the Buddha might answer those three questions. It involves me comparing the Buddha and the Gospel of John to aliens touching a truck on a desert road…that is not the normal starting point, I admit. Then again, what do they want to say about that truck? I managed to get myself down to just three big questions, but the problem is that there are a lot of things we’ve covered in prior weeks that I have to just assume everybody knows. So, I apologize in advance. The last Episode started by asking my friends to talk about what is real, what is “ultimate reality,” though I am very aware that this is vocabulary neither friend would use. This time I take up what went wrong and how to fix it…and at the end I make some comments about how I see things.
