Episode 21 - Moving Kryptonian Images Part 13 - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

from It All Comes Back to Superman

Things continue to be animated this time out on the seemingly never ending podcasting maxi-series called Moving Kryptonian Images: The Live Action and Animated Adventures of Superman! The purpose of this series is to celebrate the release of the new Superman film, written and directed by James Gunn and starring David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor! This time out Donovan Morgan Grant of Questions: We Don't Have Answers Podcast and writer for the DC Comics website joins me to talk about Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, the animated film that adapted the World's Finest story that appeared in the first six issues of the Superman/Batman series. Don and I go over both the movie and the comics, mainly pointing out the differences between the two but also what this series meant to the world of comics when it first came out and what it meant to us as readers.  As stated, Don co-hosts the Questions: We Don't Have Answers podcast and writes articles for the DC Comics website. Be sure to check out his work because it's fantastic. Feedback for It All Comes Back To Superman Series 2 can be sent to [email protected]. At the end of this series I will be doing a feedback special going through all of the emails and comments that are left or sent! You can subscribe to the show on Apple Podcasts/iTunes or stream it through Spotify, iHeart Radio, and Audible. The Fortress of Baileytude Podcasting Network is on Patreon.
