Episode 21: Surrendering to Your Truth & Learning to Trust  Thank you for a fantastic Season 1 of A Waking Moment Podcast. Season 2 begins on January 6, 2025! Surrendering often feels like we are giving up control, giving up on a responsibility, or even giving up on ourselves.  It frequently evokes feelings of fear, dread, worry, and stress.  Our ego minds tell us that if we surrender (to God, to the Universe and even to our inner truth), we will lose!   Our current world perspective and belief systems support that feeling and experience.  Just look at the definition of the word Surrender:   Definition of Surrender (Transitive verb) a: to yield to the power, control, or possession of another upon compulsion or demand b: to give up completely or agree to forgo especially in favor of another   Definition of Surrender (noun) a: the action of yielding one's person or giving up the possession of something especially into the power of another b: the relinquishment by a patentee of rights or claims under a patent   Exploring the relationship between Manifesting and Surrendering Again, our world focuses on achievement, success, creating, and manifesting a life full of material things, an amazing career, the perfect body, a healthy life and financial abundance.  If we are off track on that push, we often feel like we have failed or let someone or ourselves down.  The feelings of not being worthy, doubt, insecurity, and being overwhelmed start to flood our bodies.   Start to listen more and be aware that the Universe is guiding you.  When we meet resistance to our plans ask the question – is there something I need to shift?  How can I flow with what is vs struggle to manifest what I ‘think’ I should.   Fluidity – Flexibility These are key when flowing with life versus trying to go up a raging river. Slow down.
