Episode 21 - The Original Creator

I’m Pastor John Bingham with your Daily Growth Point.God was once approached by a scientist who said, “Listen, God, we’ve decided we don’t need you anymore. These days we can do all sorts of things that used to be considered miraculous.”God replied, “Well, how about we put your theory to the test. Why don’t we have a competition to see who can make a human being, just like I did it.”“Fine,” says the scientist as he bends down to scoop up a handful of dirt.But God stopped him by saying, “Not so fast. You get your own dirt.”When we worship Jesus Christ, we are worshipping the Lord of Creation. Colossians says, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible…” The original creation is an act only God is able to perform, which gives us confidence in the deity of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
