Episode 21 – The Wise Man’s Fear Chapters 78-86

What this episode covers

In this episode our adventuring party needs more experience points before they fight the big bad, so they wander around the woods hunting kobolds…I mean looking for trails to find the bad guys. But, on a serious note there is a good amount of character development and world building in this section. I expected this to be a short section where we had very little to talk about. But, we managed to figure out a way to talk for 90 mins anyway. In the next episode we will read chapters 87-93. Predictions: * This Bandit Hunt isn’t going to end in them stumbling upon a campsite, killing everyone, taking the loot and going home. * We won’t get to hear the end of the Jax story from Hespe. * The D&D party has been making too much noise. The Bandits are going to find them, instead of them finding the Bandits. Don’t ask me why I keep capitalizing the word, “Bandits,” I just do. * Arliden the Bard had a price put on his head when he married Netalia Lackless. * Master Ash/Bredon is working for the Chandrian, not the Order Amyr. And, more specifically, he may be working directly with or for Cinder. * One of the events at the end of the third book will involve a religious based coup, or coup attempt.
