What this episode covers
Sally-Anne is an author with a long-standing love of Hammer horror films and the darker stories we tell. Her bimonthly Substack newletter, Into the Shadows, is a welcome addtion to my inbox. Sally-Anne's first novel, The Cure, is a dark thriller set in an ex-asylum , the very sort Sally-Anne worked in once herself, will be released in Fall 2022 from Joffe Books. Sally-Anne is also a massive fan of John Landis's 1981 comic-horror masterpiece, An American Werewolf in London. at a recent online gathering, she spoke about the film with such enthusiasm and passion, I KNEW I had to have her on the podcast.
