In 1941 Walt and a group of artists, writers, and musicians from the studio traveled to South America on a goodwill tour per a request from the US Government. They were known as El Grupo. From that trip, the company produced two feature length films and shorts. Authors JB Kaufman, Ted Thomas and Didier Ghez along with the Hyperion Historical Alliance have produced a new monograph called Walt Disney and El Grupo in Latin America.All three are returning to the Hyperion Hub this week!
