Send us Fan MailFestival of the Living Dead is a 2024 American zombie movie made by the Soska Sisters Jen and Sylvia. So the sisters also made American Mary, a remake of Cronenberg’s Rabid, and a few WWE funded movies. None of which I will, and none of which I have intention to see. Quite bombastically it is labelled as the spiritual successor to the game changing George A Romero 1968 night of the living dead. No one in their right mind would really link any movie, no matter how great they think it is with the early Romero’s surely? Well, by creating a character in Ash, played by Ashley Moore as Ben’s from the original’s granddaughter, that is what they have done. I may well mark you down because of that fact alone.I HATED THIS MOVIE!4/10 for the bits that were good, but it felt like it was written by, starring and was for illiterate teens…
