Episode 214: Goalcards Instead of Gift Cards w/ Goalsetter's Tanya Van Court
from The CUSP Show · host The CUSP Show
Tanya Van Court, Founder and CEO of Goalsetter, joins Tom and Joe to talk about her transition from working at ESPN and Nickelodeon to starting her own company as an advocate for childhood and teenage financial literacy. Reflecting on her life experiences growing up in Oakland, and now with four children of her own, Tanya founded GoalSetter to provide a practical platform for teaching financial literacy in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner. From her first outreach pitch at a Stanford Black Alumni Association meeting, to the most recent partnerships with Chris Paul and Kevin Durant, Tanya has poured her heart and soul into passing the rock of financial literacy to as many young people as possible. --Tanya Van CourtGoalSetterGoalsetter (LinkedIn)--The CUSP Show is a production by the faculty of Sports Management at Columbia University.
