Episode 216 - Cindy's M's Story

I first met Cindy's husband Travis (episode 174) as he came into the Spiritual Underground. We've all heard about the struggles of couples attempting to get sober, together or alone, and I rarely see a success story where the relationship survives - BUT HERE IS ONE! It took a lot of exploring what doesn't work before finding something that does - hence "keep coming back" and "never stop trying". I love both these wonderful souls, first off I sponsor Travis and anything that is good for him is on top of my list to root for, and secondly seeing families reunited warms my heart beyond explanation, I had a front row seat to the power of the 12 Steps in their lives, and now that both have told their stories here on the Spiritual Underground Podcast, so do you. I hope to have them both in soon to talk about what they've learned from this process, so many relationships do not survive recovery, and they have some experience, strength and hope to share with others on how this was successful in their lives.
