Released in 2004 as a cautious "Third Pillar" gaming device for Nintendo, The Nintendo DS would go on to outsell the Game Boy Advance. In fact, it became Nintendo's most successful console of any kind until the Switch. Its dual-screen setup allowed for unique display options. The lower touch-enabled screen opened up new control and play possibilities. And it's backwards compatibility with the GBA meant every new DS owner could already have a robust collection that was only going to get better. Matt & Gen are joined by Yorki to discuss the impact of Nintendo's first folding game device since the Game & Watch.
