Episode 219 Free Comic Book Day 2015 (Secret Wars) #0: "Secret Wars"

Secret Wars Three, baby!!!!! That is right. We are (sorta) starting our coverage of the amazing event here. Then we are putting the rest behind a paywall. Why, because that is how we roll. For now, let us take a look at this Free Comic Book Day book. Like any good war, secret or otherwise, there is a lot of pushing and posturing and "boy you are lucky they are holding me back" moments. And this is the same. But it really is between realities more than people. And concepts. And cookies Why did this war happen? Well, there are many reasons. But I like to think that the whole reason the mess started was because Namor stole Dr. Dooms radio. I know I am probably wrong, but it sounds like a reasonable reason for a war. But think about the kids!!!! OK, fine, let's think about the kids. First of all, they are too smart for their own good. They probably are the real cause of the war. Why do they need to scheme so much? Why aren't bikes good enough for them? Geez. In the end, it does not matter who started what. A war was started, and it was not really all that secret. And it happened for a third time. And this probably won't be the last time. OK, let's just blame the kids.
